How do you be original? (6)

I'm having conflicting feelings right now. I feel like I'm copying someones life with the same intent. I think I'm on an anime show or tv show of some kind and narrate what i say but miss out or avoid what people really do in real life. I try changing my ways to my own life and choices but they don't seem like me, I always feel I playing someones life not my own. Almost like if you wanted to be a acter or singer, you want to be the person that inspired you or want to make it on your own but your thoughts and ideas are almost the same as another. So how do you be original if your almost copying other peoples lives? Is it ok to? I'm i stupid for saying these things? Is it ok to be wrong? Is it ok to be right?

What is the wrong and right of this generation? How can you base things to right and wrong? I keep asking me and others questions that they sometimes can't answer but mostly can. Nobody asks me questions so i sit back and watch the trees go by. What can I do? All i ever do is do chores and help people. sleep through the day and hitchhike with my sister and her friends, doing nothing but stand there and watch.

Sorry i kind of made this a journal.

Sit down on your bed, and look into yourself. What are you? What you like? What you don't like? Just calm down and don't get into assumptions.. Getting into one is the worst you can do.

Now. You want to be like someone e.g actress A or singer J. Do you really want to? Are you ready to sacrifice everything in order to become like them?

Pssh I think it's a bit silly, but yes, it's okay to be wrong. Humans make mistakes. If you don't make one, I bet my wallet that you're an alien robot.

For starters, try to do something that you want to do. You want to be a novelist? Fine grab a pen and some blank papers and start writing anything that comes into your mind.

You're the observer, right? Then you can do people-watching. Sit on the window tables in Starbucks, order a cup of cappuccino, and watch people. I don't know perhaps you can be a good detective on the law enforcement one day.

To be original is to be yourself.. Just do what you want. Break free from the illusions and sniff the fresh air of reality. From today onwards, you'll be just a normal man; you yourself.

This is kind of a sad thought, but you have to accept that you are not special; neither am I, nor are the rest of us.

The reason why you feel like you're living the life of someone else may be because the society demands you to partially be what you are not, and it's inevitable. It happens to everyone.

It's normal.

>>4 Astra might have my vote for king of personal.

None of us are special or unique, so I don't even try.
I just let be what will be.

I also think that you acting like characters is you trying to not be yourself because there are some deep seated self loathing type things going on inside your head.

I think it's important to recognize that originality, in its purest sense, does not exist. Even the most original-seeming idea can be reduced to dozens of small and seemingly unrelated inspirations (conscious or not). The only true originality is accident (or randomness, if you would).

I'm not saying you should try to copy things or people exactly. I'm saying it's OK to be inspired by someone. It's OK to emulate another's admirable aspects. Try not to worry too much about it.
