The best thing to do is to literally go up to someone and ask if they like you, preferably in a somewhat private setting since it is a private matter. It takes a lot of courage and you feel better for simply having done that. Just make sure they don't already have a significant other or else it could become very awkward.

Show a very good first impression.. if you text her without formally introducing your self to her.. she will think that you are a stalker.. approach her with something simple.. be her friend.. and everything else is automatic~
