Why does highschool have to be so bloody dramatic? Seriously, can someone answer this question for me?

Apparently, I'm a blind ignorant fack for wanting proof that my best friend raped a girl.
That's...that's a thing that is going on.
My friend is completely brushing the situation off like it doesn't matter, the girl's new boyfriend is being a bastard and pushing to completely ruin my friend's reputation as well as looking for any excuse to beat him to a pulp (which he would likely get away with since his family has so much money in this town), and I can't get a word in edgewise.

Can you tell I'm in distress right now?!
Because I'm in a lot of distress in this whole situation.
I mean, I keep asking them for some sort of evidence or witness or something, but they just keep saying "I'm blind".
Honestly, they're making this simple relationship that turned into a week or two of distrust sound like a horrifying tale of sexual assault and emotional torment, when in reality it was nothing like that, not ever in the slightest.

This is like trying to debate politics with my Fox News obsessed xenophobic racist father - "there's no proof it isn't false, so it must be true", or I'm just "blind, dense, and don't know what I'm talking about". They refuse to offer any tangible evidence or testimony in favor of their side of the story; according to the new boyfriend, he's run "many psychological tests on almost everyone in school anbd knows how they think and do stuff", which means he ran the Hare Psychopathy Checklist on me and my friend, the latter of which he simply copy-pasted the entire checklist and said he got a full score (44). I scored several of the people involved - I got a 16, he and the girl got a 21, and my friend got a 6. A career criminal usually gets around 22.

I really don't know what to do at this point. It's impossible to debate or argue with him because he's completely incapable of offering evidence or debating in an even remotely respectable manner - he'd be laughed out of bloody Congress, CONGRESS FOR CHRIST'S SAKE.

I'd give up and just continue on with my mostly wasted weekend, but that would give him the impression that he has won, which simply isn't an option. His ego is large enough as things stand now.
