So for anyone who's seen Hetalia I'm assuming you know about Hetalia Day?

Well I'm from a not-for-profit group known as Hetalians for Hope. Hetalians for Hope is a group of dedicated Hetalians who decided to made a difference in the world around us. We plan events from the money in our own pockets to raise money for charities such as, but not limited to, St. Jude's Children's Hospital and The Boys and Girls Club. And for this year's Hetalia Day we're planning on doing a costume contest.

The only way to "buy" admission into the contest would be to donate a school supply for Boys and Girls Club (we would provide a box to place said supplies into it). Minimum of one pack of supplies of their choosing (a pack of crayons not just one crayon, etc), maximum of whatever they would like to donate.

We'll also have a box set up for clothes to donate to local shelters and whatnot and some of us will be selling things to raise money for places like St. Jude's Children's Hospital. We'll even have a box set up for canned goods too.

As for the costume contest it's open for everyone no matter the age or the skill set, the only requirement is that everyone wanting to participate will need to bring school supplies or cans for us to donate to charities in the name of Hetalia. Categories will include(but not limited to) best overall, best craftsmanship, best group, best skit, original casual, etc. If you bring more than one school supply/can you will be entered into an additional category for those who have large hearts. And who wouldn't want to be in the honorary, coveted Hearted Hetalians category? ;3

World Hetalia Day Nashville 2013 will be held at Parthenon, which I do believe is located in Nashville's Centennial park, on October 26. I believe it starts around noon and ends really whenever. We'll also have games involing giant Twister, Musical Chairs, and a dating game.

So what I'm asking is if you're near this area please come by and help and have fun! We'd really appericate it and it'd mean a lot!!!
