Why do I forget things all the time, even though I'm only 15?? (6)

Alright,so I wanna know why this is happening to me and if there's any way to make it stop.Lately it's been happening all the time and...I'm afraid it's affecting my life a lot.Alright,I admit I don't exercise a lot & I don't eat right...I'm starting to think I should get on a healthy diet but I dunno about exercising...You see,I don't exercise much because my schedule is already full.I am learning three different foreign languages at the moment and I am also having piano lessons....On top of that,I have to stay at my school for 8 hours every day and I need to be a decent student in everything I do... :/ Personally,I think my schedule is too much, but on the other hand I know ppl with busier schedules than mine.So I've decited I am NOT changing it,no matter what. (plz don't write changing my this would be a good solution) Also,I've thought about writing down everything I do,but it simply doesn't work.I even forget the piece of paper where I've written my activities,or my mobile phone!! :( Oh and I don't get stressed /tired easily,so that's not the cause, either. But I am STILL really forgetful...Not when it comes to important stuff (thank God),for example I remember everything I'm taught at school or everything I learn...What I always forget though is,let's say when I have a lesson.I've forgotten to get on my lessons (the time I have to go)four times now & September has just begun...I swear,my teachers are sick of me... :'( Also,I forget my school bag in various places,I've lost money a million times,I forget to do stuff and lastly,I forget things ppl have said only minutes ago.(even though I'm paying attention) 4 example,I was talking with a friend & we were writing something like a story. She had created a male character & she wanted me to continue her story, after having read it.....I continued the story with a female character, even though I had read he was a man a minute ago!! :/ & I always embarass myself like that,ALWAYS!!I'm sick of that..... :/ So why is this happening & how can I stop it?Also,do you think there may be something wrong with my mind??I'm starting to believe I may develop Altzheimer in the future!! :(

I agree with >>2 a psychologist might help you, if it's just a memory issue and nothing extreme, there are exercises to help strengthen your brain. But just in case GO SEE A DOCTOR, I don't mean to be pushy but that could be something really serious (I hope that it isn't!!) good luck!! (^o^)/

You're not developing Alzheimer's, hun. You just have a weak short-term memory. Some of us have it, some people don't. I'm the same as you in that I forget things to a very similar extent. It's not something that you really need to be concerned about as far as your physical/mental health goes; it's completely normal, to an extent, and there are things you can do about it.

What you can do is practice with yourself. Play memory and strategy games online to help exercise your head, or if you can afford it, get the full version of Luminosity (even the trial helps a lot if you use it right). There are a lot of simple memory games that you can play with just a stack of playing cards, too. As for notes and reminders, write them top of your hand instead of on a piece of paper so that you can't forget the paper itself. (Do not use a marker or heavily inky pen for that as it's not healthy, and don't write it on the palm of your hand or it'll wash off before you need it).

You /can/ get medication that will (supposedly) help your short term memory increase alongside expensive therapy, but I really don't suggest it. It's better to increase your memory with practice on your own rather than to take a pill with fifty other far more negative side effects and to pay for a doctor to tell you to do something you could have done on your own. That's my opinion, at least.

I think your mind is just like mine. You remember the important stuffs like what you learn in school and (beside the fact that you study 3 foreign languages is beyond awesome!!) you still forget where you put your things.
I hate wearing shoes and I actually forget to get shoes on my feet before leaving room/home. I was outside classes and I changed my phone password. After 15 mins I already forgot it and I had all my phone memory erased. After 4 weeks of thinking and thinking I remembered the password ._. I totally understand you. But I think you should see a doctor. This didn't happened for me until I had some medical problems and I had memory lost. But this happening out of the blue, is not okay. At all.
Go check with a neurologist and he might help you. I don't want to scare you, but it's just better to be safe than sorry, right?
Oh, and get at lest 7-8 hours sleep. It will do wonders. Trust me. Sleep is an important factor. Your brain needs to rest. Perhaps you study 13 hours without a break. So when you have free time, just relax. And try to have at least a few minutes to just sit and watch the world around you. It's better if you are in a park or somewhere where is nature.
