I just finished a year at this program called JobCorps. I obtained a certification as a pharmacy technician. So, im nationally certified to work in a pharmacy. But as of now, ive such a hard time finding work and im still living at my mothers house. and lets just say her husband doesnt like me being here. So, that sucks. it sucks even more that im 21. Im too old to be in a crappy situation im in now. and it makes me feel worse that all of my friends are doing way better than me. even one of my best friends who is a recovering heroin addict is in a music production program in college.
I just feel bad about myself, and losing hope about getting out of this situation.

Man, don't let this get you down. Think positive and you'll get through this slump. The fact that you live with your mother and don't have a job yet don't matter - what matters is that you try to improve the situation. Continue to look for a job and keep your head up; I'm sure everything will be fine.

I was born in Italy and i still live there, and I can tell you what's the situation like. Finding jobs nowadays is very hard, you don't have to blame yourself. My brother is 22 and he lives with our parents and I because he couldn't find a job, any kind of job. He looked also for simpler jobs such as working at McDonalds or in a supermarket, but there's nothing. Lots of young people and also people in their 30 can't find a job that suits them, or one that at least provides with an adequate salary. If you have the opportunity, try every kind of job that you can do, even the simplest ones, and don't feel ashamed in doing them. A job is a job, and every experience can be useful in your curriculum vitae.
