Passport, birth certificate issues (Portuguese/Macau) HELP! (1)

1 Name: TM : 2013-08-11 11:33 ID:nsVMtkTd [Del]

Hello.

If anyone here is experienced or works with this stuff alot can you please help me on this issue, thanks!

I am a Caucasian Filipino/Portuguese living in Macau. I had never traveled abroad due to having no passport and it's really sad, because my dream is to travel around the world.

The issue here is that my dad didn't register me in Macau when i was just born and at that time Macau was still colonized by the Portuguese so if you are registering yourself you will end up as a Portuguese Citizen or choose between Macau or Portuguese passport, so i wasn't registered and i was only registered right after the hand over(Hand over was at 1999 DEC 20)at 2001 so i didn't have that Portuguese certificate only the Macau birth certificate as a Chinese or filipino i dunno.

Me and my dad went to get fix up my passport 2 years ago for the first time!! My dad wanted me to get the Portuguese passport since it's one of the greatest passports and Macau passport isn't an option for him.. He says it's a waste for your Portuguese passport and that Macau passport isn't really recognized through out some countries.. Bet some of you don't even know where Macau is, usually Macau citizens have trouble in other countries cause they think we're from China then we'll have trouble and need visa this and that when we don't need.

After going to the Portuguese embassy in Macau.. If you know then yeah you're right i failed, because i needed the Portuguese birth certificate to be able to make the Portuguese passport and yes i am not even registered as a Portuguese citizen so getting the birth certificate is not possible but i do have the right to be registered because i AM half my parents have Portuguese bloodline and i am very proud of my family surname and it's history but i won't state it here.

So my dad of course sent a letter (Hand written letter through envelope an all that) of course that wasn't enough he should've done more than that and my aunt is trying to push him around, and it's been months and i'm convinced that the letter was useless so i'm going to push my dad a bit more and do SOME stuff myself (I'm not in legal age to do it myself btw)

I want your opinions on this.. I have rejected all my school trips to go outside of Macau and whatnot and i plan to go to the Philippines this winter for an important reason and i'm afraid i might not be able to go.. Oh and the Philippine passport is an option for me, i will try to ask my dad if i can get both but if i can't get both i doubt my dad will get the PH pass and yes i can't get both Macau and Portuguese Pass although some cases are possible but in mine it isn't!

Sorry if i was annoying or anything, if i have bad english and i just want to know your opinion, if this is pointless for you don't bother reading and to the GM please delete this thread if so lol.

Thanks
