My Mother, Aunt, and Grandmother are always yelling at each other. They are all short-tempered and overly-sensitive. How do I stop this?

>>1 Well could you be more specific? I'd like to help but could you state what might actually be causing a fight between them besides a short temper, cuz I'm sure there may be more to this, if not then try talking to them about how you don't like all the fighting that goes on in front of you, and have your whole family come together and discuss things civilly and work out a solution. That's my advice, if there's more info you could give ill help more :)

You have options(none are 100% fool proof and may not work or even backfire). Your first option is to step in the middle of each fight and attempt to make a compromise. This wont prevent fighting but it could end them faster. The down fall to this is it has a possibility of dragging you into the fight which could feed the flame. Your second option is gathering them all together and saying "this needs to stop" and give multiple reasons why. One reason could be it is painful for you. Another could be it's tearing the family apart. You could even go as far as to say it isnt healthy because it raises stress which can cause problems. The down fall with this is that having them all together could start a fight or they may not take you seriously, depending on your age and maturity level. Your third and final option I can possibly think of is faking an emotional breakdown during the middle of a fight. Just start sobbing in the middle of one and say "i cant take it" over and over again. When they ask what's wrong say you cant take them fighting. The down fall to this is family may start to look down on you and act as if you're a fragile piece of glass depending on how well you sell your act. It may also fuel another fight because people start blaming others for making you break down. What you do depends on what your family is like and what they will respond to best. There are probably better options but i cant think of any at the moment. I wish you the best of luck no matter what you end up doing.
