I have a friend that is like a brother to me and we got along very well so months pass and now he is telling me that he wants to die and he might commit suiside. I don't know what to tell him can some one help me on trying to stop him from killing himself. Please please please I am begging

Anyway, maybe you should try telling him that suicide is a last resort, that he should try to find another solution first. If he has a specific problem, there are always other means of dealing with it, and if he is depressed, or just doesn't want to live anymore, it's just the way he feels now, and feelings change, so it would be unreasonable to make such a big decision based on them. After all, he can kill himself anytime he wants, so it wouldn't hurt to wait and see if things will change or if there is another way. There usually is. And you should definitely tell him what he means to you and that you will help him in any way you can.

Kindly inform him that death is not the way to escape your problems. Even if you were bound to this Earth as an immortal soul, or perhaps just a common face, all lives will be bittersweet. Not a single being ever created is perfect, but not a single one is worse than the other. It may seem so, but different people have different views and feelings on certain things. Maybe his view is plainly more pessimistic and depressing than others, but it is most likely only on that one view of his in which he amplified. Your mind's corruption and thoughts will go with you into the afterlife- if that is what you believe, of course- and they will never honestly leave him until he fixes them himself. You can't finish what you started or repair what you have broken without facing it yourself.

I know I've said this before, but I can never say it enough. Never purposefully end your existence, because you see, life isn't so bad.

Snap him out damnit. Does he think everything will be fine for the persons in his life? Does he think his life is so worthless that if he died, nothing wont change?
As long as you live.. Keep learning how to live.

Give him a choice. tell him, it's only his decision. leave you behind and grieving over your loss, or you staying and try to overcome and conquer your failures and troubles. if he wants suicide above all else, let him. but his lack of knowledge of what might affect you, his family and other friends, is what stands in the way of a better afterlife.being an atheist, I, can only say that i can imagine life after death, and it's not prettier than your life before.
