I'm wondering if i could find a new love. I always being dumped by other guys. I think the most reason is that I am a Gamer Girl. I just dont understand why they will dump me right after they realized that i could easily defeat them in playing DOTA, LOL, Crossfire etc. Are games only for guys?? well, maybe, for them. BTW, I'm not ugly hahaha.

I personally know a gammer girl who is real awesome, In my opinion. But her issues include her attitude, and not being much too look at for the opposite sex.

But yeah, as I said before, maybe you are going after the wrong guys. It sounds like you are going out for the 'hot, popular' guys. Just choose the ones that you really get on with and you will most likely have more success.

Hey Rookie, I don't know what other people have said, but I have had some pretty good feedback with my advice/opinions on here before, so I'll let you in on my view of things. What you do with it is your choice. Love is weird, really weird, sometimes what we think is love isn't love or is a different kind of love (there are, of course multiple kinds of love). Love might not be something that you feel right away but instead it's something that you discover over time. Love is a serious creature that is nigh on impossible to catch a glimpse of id it wants to remain hidden. So here is my advice; stop looking. Just stop, go on with your life, make friends, have good times, have bad times; and then, when it's ready, love will come to you.

Humans are indeed strange creatures, and each of them is different from the others. If you get dumped frequently, try to ask yourself what might have you done and what the boys where REALLY looking for. It may actually be that it's the "gamer factor" that makes boys a bit "suspicious", but could it be anything else the problem? A lot of boys like to have a gamer girl on their side, but mostly of them also like to have a girl which also acts a bit more "girly" at the same time. Because yes, they STILL think that videogames were "originally made for boys". So, when you'll find a boy (you don't have to hurry up things! Real love comes up with no anticipation!) first of all, act as a friend. Then as a girlfriend. And then as a gamer. ^^
(but sincerely, I've found it strange. I've got PLENTY of boys following me only because I'm a gamer, and I'm not even THAT pretty! XD you should hang out with a gamer, probably. But love is love. XD )

A lot of you say that guys love gamer girls, but dont you think that those guys that i have met are just different?

In regards to the idea of only having a specific gender pointedly being targeted in the subject of gaming, I think that view is a bit small-minded. You should be able to do what you want and have someone love you for that, and just ignore what other people think. I know it's pretty cliche to say 'be yourself and then you will find true love', and the truth is, that doesn't always work. Not all of us happen to come upon true love. The thing is just to not give up, to keep doing what comes comfortably and naturally to you and you only. You don't have to listen to what others say when they tell you to be what your not just because you're a gamer girl. There are plenty of boys who would probably love to go out with you, regardless of your skill, no matter how superior to theirs it might be. Just think of it as human nature; though I couldn't personally say anything about it, seeing as I couldn't focus my love and attention on one as you are so kind-hearted and compassionate to do, love who you want and keep an open mind, but don't forget to love them with your true face, and not just an alias you've made to fool anyone.

I'm a gamer guy but I can't find anyone decent I am dating this one girl but idk.. shes really lazy now.. its getting annoying whenever I wanna play something she says no hopefully if it doesn't work out for us I'm gonna look for someone else.. I haven't told her anything though because she hits me a lot... scared to be shot by her dad or worse..

I'm not mad that she won't let me play its because she's getting lazier and I don't want to be the only one starting a job and her sit on her ass all day and night and sleep most the day away and she's unhygienic now and it makes me feel sick
