Has anyone seen a fight in real life, or a robbery?
I didn´t seen one yet, probably because i live in a save country?
Please tell me your experience with it or what you think of it.

I was robbed at gun point last month, and a fight every few weeks in my school,
the fights in my school are laughable, nobody knows how to fight , and it ends up looking like two squirrels trying fuck, and the few that know how, or are at least big enough, to where they don't need to, are mature enough not to,
as for that time i got robbed, I actually kept my cool, it was an air soft gun, he was dumb enough to point the barrel at my face, and with the help of a street light i could see the norrow barrle within the "real" barrel, but i did take any chances, gave him $15 (i had $45 shh, dont tell him) He couldent have been over 16, I told him not to spend it all in one place, he gave me the dirty look and said "Don't fuck with me" then ran off, and i continued to 7-11 where i bought a soda and a snickers,
there are reuglar street races that go by my third floor apartment, every other night at 2am, drug deals in broad daylight by the projects down the street, a friendly house of stoners across the street, and i have very... eccentric downstairs neighbors, I wouldent go as far to say where i live is unsafe, theres never been any murders or anything like that, its moreee full of surprises

>>5 No I will never forgive you.

I live in a really safe town, too, OP. I rarely, if ever, see fights and muggings. The worst the police have to deal with here is drunk drivers and teenagers out past curfew.
The teenagers here love to get their hands on drugs and alcohol and have sex but eh, I bet there's few towns with the majority of teenagers not being like that. Sadly. At least that's as bad as it gets here.

Thank you everyone for sharing your stories and thoughts. Really, thank you.
But what would you do if you see someone being ´in trouble´? Even though you don´t know that person. Call the cops? They might arrive late sometimes right? And so, would you wait for the police or go into action yourself?

I was almost mugged a few times on the way home, but there's always enough people around that it scares the hooligans (I fucking love that word) off.
>>7 Hm, I an only speak based on fights at school, but I always intervene. Luckily most of the students at my school have heard of me and hold some degree of respect, or just think I'm a fucking lunatic. I rarely use violence though. Just get up in their face until the victim has some time to get out.
But if I were to see two people brawling in the street? I'd get someone to call the cops for sure. But I'd still step in and try to break it up. I'm not scared of idiots who think beating each other up is going to solve their problem.

>>7 I have no idea what I'd do; never have been in a situation like that. Depending on the situation I might jump in, just watch, or call the cops. I'm not exactly the strongest person physically, so idk if I could even help someone in that kind of situation which kinda sucks.

Two of my friends were beaten by ten or so football fans right in front of me, on a very public street, in broad daylight, for no reason. There was a crowd on the street but everybody just watched and did nothing. I'm ashamed to say I haven't done anything either. I knew I should, even if I just got beaten too, but I just couldn't make myself step into it. I don't know what I'd do if something like that happened again. Maybe I'd react, maybe I'd chicken out again...it would probably depend on the circumstances. But I think I would definitely intervene if I knew I could stop it.

Hm... I've never actually seen a fight... I mean, not even really a verbal one... My school is full of preppy rich kids who THINK they are gangsters and girls who are really more of drama queens than bullies... I'm sure I've seen some violence. I remember bits and pieces of kids picking on each other when I was in public school, but nothing ever REALLY happened because we were all so young.

If and when I DO ever see a fight... I hope I'd step in... I would hope I would have enough sense to call the cops and then step in until they got there... I have the uncanny ability to talk 90 to nothing, so the least I could do is keep them occupied for a minute... Physically, I'm not all that intimidating... I took Taekwondo (oh dear geezus why can't I spell Korean words for crap?) for a few years, but... I dunno. I'd have to see. I've never really gotten to test my skills aside from sparring and even then you had protective gear and weren't allowed to do this and this and this. Plus, it's been a long time.

If I could, I would avoid fighting at all costs, but if I had to, I would...

Well, I hope I would. Again, I guess I'd just have to see. I wish that I'd never have to be put in that situation, but I know that some day I most likely will. And... I hope that I would be brave enough to do something. My mom says I'm a "protector", but I'm not sure that I would be bold enough to ACTUALLY protect someone. My instinct tells me yes, but... Once again, I'd just have to be put in that situation to really know.

Excuse the rant. I meant to stop, like, a paragraph or two ago.

I've only ever really been in one fight, but it wasn't really much of one. When I was about six years old, some eighth grade kid assaulted me because I wouldn't give him candy. All I really did was just kind of duck behind him, and jump up on his back to restrain him. Next thing I know, I miss my bus, and I get blamed for the incident. The good thing is, it never happened since then. Aside from that, I've occasionally sparred with my friends, but all on good terms.

I havent ever seen a legit fight. I've seen people attack eachother for the fun of it but nothing serious. I live in a secluded area and go to a private school. I would step into a fight if one side was at an extreme disadvantage and was being attacked for no reason. If it where my friends, i would step in no matter what.
