okay I don't want to hear "this doesn't belong here" because im pretty shore it douse. I'm just really wondering about this. can gays really be christian? The Bible clearly says that being gay is a sin. I just want a logical answer. what is your opinion?

Well....I am a lesbian and I an atheist so I don't know if you will accept my answer but look at it this way, the Bible states that slavery is ok but today a lot of Christians don't accept it and see it as wrong. The bible also states that being gay is wrong but today a lot of people (including Christians) accept it and see it as ok....its kind of the same thing but vice versa...That's how I see it and, my ex girlfriend was a Christian even though she was gay. All I can say is that if you are a Christian do as your Bible says and love everyone...maybe I have no right to say these things because I am an atheist but I hope I helped

Now on topic: Can a homosexual be a Christian? Well, certainly it is considered a sin. Pride is a sin. Christians can be prideful. Lust is a sin. Christians can lust. I could go on and on with examples but that'd be rather redundant. All in all, everyone's a sinner, doesn't matter which one specifically is foremost in their lives. The whole idea of Jesus was that he died for ALL sinners, not just the ones who only did those "small sins".

So I fully believe a homosexual can be a Christian, at least at the base meaning of the word.

People can chose whatever religion they want.

Also, that's like saying can somebody who loses their virginity before marriage be Christian? There are so many no-no's in the bible, it's extremely hard to follow the guidelines perfectly.

Why ever choose to follow a faith that is so much about selfishly blind devotion. Please read the most of bible you can and try to tell me that it isn't written in the most arrogant self centered way possible. I refuse to follow faiths that demand my death for my life choices.

When you look at the bible it is not written by God himself it is the INTERPRETATION of the worshipers. So some things are sketchy. And when you look at the words of Jesus he says that to be redeemed just follow him. A thief who was condemned to death beside Jesus was saved just by saying "I believe in you. Remember me. In addition to what I have already said Pope Francis recently said that "Every person who does good things will be redeemed, even Atheists." So it seems as thou you can be Christian and Gay.

I'm guessing it doesn't allow any other kind of sex except the baby making process kind since it spreads diseases and such. So if you've done anal whether het or homo, you're cursed.

At least, that's how it is in Malaysia being 70% Muslim.

yes they can it may say that you shouldn't have sex for other reasons than procreation. god would forgive you for anything and im not saying being gay is wrong but live a good life and disregard what any anti gay christians say as leviticus i one huge hate speech. "love they neighbour" "the good samaritan" this is telling people to care for one another regardless.
