In the short time I've been here I've tryed to partecipate to all those threads that I thought were interesting, but whenever I write something "almost-deep" no one cares about it.
It isn't like I got mad, mine are only pixels that form words on the monitor: but I'd like to ask you if my English is really /that/ bad. It seems like that if you don't speak well English on this site you get penalized, and that's quite sad. :(

Its not that your getting penalized coffee, I've read some of your posts and they are really good. Very inspirational. Just don't take it personally l, its not that we aren't acknowledging you, just not every post will get a response. I know some of mine never did. Please don't take it as us going against anything you have to say. And also your English isn't that bad either, it doesn't really have any noticeable mistakes. Haha its just a few unresponsive threads is all, try not to let it bother you :) your doing fine.

Oh thank godness ^^ I guess I was only unsure on my language skills, actually! It's only the second year of English studies for me and I'm a bit insecure! Thank you!

Well, I can understand you better than what my classmates type up. Seriously, they've learned English their entire lives as well....

Hah, you don't have bad English; like people said it's better than a lot of native speakers. People just don't reply sometimes and that's normal, don't get your ponytail in a knot.

Thank you all! ^^ And I have to write down somewhere the "ponytail in a knot" thing. Got to remeber every new way-of-saying!

>>8 There are a TON of versions of that saying, by the way. "Ponytail in a knot" is just a more appropriate version that kids use. The original was, "Don't get your knickers in a twist," and came from a British TV show.

Some other versions:

Panties in a knot
Panties in a wad
Bloomers in a knot
Knickers in a knot
Shorts in a knot
Tights in a twist
Underwear in a bunch
Undies in a bundle

>>11 as I said, anyone know a good way to learn an English accent?

>>12 Are you trying to learn the language or the accent?

Learning the accent won't teach you the slang or other terminology. That's a part of British English as a whole. You only know American English, which is in fact a different language all together, so seeing a language coach will teach you more about the differences in vocabulary than an accent coach.

I wish I could read the hidden post n'10 TTuTT
I have to be sincere: I'm learning the British English from a mother-tongue teacher but I don't have a British accent when I talk. Probably it's because I watch a lot of videos which are made by Americans. It's very hard to learn an accent, i still don't know how to pronunce certain words because of my Italian language basis. I try to hide the fact I'm Italian, though. But in the end i guess it's not really important what accent you do have... The important is to get understood, right?
