Alright, so an idea popped into my head, since we are like a big community, I see many of the same members names popping uo on threads ( not surprising really ).
So this thread as I see it, is a better way to get to know everyone around here by posting any opinions of any members you've noticed frequently, or have any real opinion of certain members.
Disclaimer, I don't mean this to be a way to call members out or to be rude in anyway (though there's bound to be someone who doesn't like somebody here on the BBS ) be mature about your posts. Meaning, if its not exactly a compliment, be professional on the way you enunciate your opinion.
On another note, there is a second function to this thread, call it a way to get to know other members of the dollars better, if you want people to know you better, however much your willing to submit, just gives us some details that your comfortable sharing ( I understand there's room for these things in introductions, but that seems more for duh duh duh, introducing yourself).
Anyways, lets see if this thread goes anywhere. If it doesn't belong here, then by all means sage, and lemme know.

The thing is with most of the memberbase, they get bored and leave after a month or so. It is kind of useless to spend time getting to know people if they are just going to abandon ship at some point, not saying this thread is useless, just flawed.

I've been here a couple of months but I am planning to stay for the long haul most likely, people have probably seen me around on most boards.

This doesn't really feel "Personal" even in my broad sense of the board's use. Seems like it'd fit Introductions or Random better. (Probably best in Random. The possible shitstorm of member hatred that may or may note ensue would be better kept away from the newbs. In fact, why don't you put it in the Test bo- /shot)

I'm also pretty sure we had another thread similar to this in Random at some point, but I don't remember the name :I

Annnd pretty much nobody is going to be "proper" or "articulate" while being honest at the same time in regards to people they have issues with. This could turn into a shitstorm pretty quickly if it gets to be a mixed hate thread as I mentioned earlier.

As for getting to know each other, I personally think that should be done through lurking and varied communications throughout the boards. There are a lot of threads on Personal, Random, Missions, and Main that have good discussions or reveal the private thoughts/habits/personalities of many members. I don't think you can really trust a person to tell you about themselves honestly, which is why I'd take anything in this thread with a grain of salt.

That's just my opinion, though.
