Papa/Mama wolf (11)

1 Name: Zephyr : 2013-05-22 19:18 ID:AkvzQnhf [Del]

I have been thinking, If someone touched my baby brother(14 year difference) in a threatening manner what would I do? So I want to hear what you guys would do if hypothetically some random adult attempted to hit or otherwise assault your child/younger sibling. Now if you would please refrain from the whole " I would destroy their family " type stuff I want to know you realistic reactions to this possible situation.

if something like that were to happen to me i would probably grab my baby brother and get him out of there as soon as possible.i would also call the police and try and get that man arrested for child abuse. i hope i answered your question

Yes that answer is what I was looking for. But everyone don't forget that the protection instinct can easily override rational thought and restraint so impulses are good for answers to.

If I'm present in the situation, I'd honestly kick their ass on the spot.

I do not have a younger sibling or child, but if anyone hurt my dog...I would break their arm. And that's not an exaggeration.

Honestly? Depending on the adult I'd just kick their knee and bolt carrying them away from the creeper, but if it was serious, and couldn't be solved so simply, then I would take the pocket knife I carry with me and cut them. Like there hand or cheek so we could run, maybe a stab in the side. I couldn't imagine that happening again to him.

Unless if he punched or otherwise assaulted your brother, you are going to be in an disadvantage (in court) if you attack him first. It's not worth getting arrested just because someone shoved your brother. And no, it doesn't matter even if your brother fell down and scratched himself. Exercise restraint and play smart. Move your brother behind you, pull your phone out and threaten to call the police.

It depends on the situation. If i didnt know the person and he is unarmed, i would probably attack him with a chair, bat, vase, or whatever i could get my hands on. If the unknown person had a knife i would probably get between him and my brother and attempt to take the knife from him. I would probably get stabbed but at close range i could get the knife from the attacker and stab him. If the person had a gun, i grab my brother and run for cover. I would probably be shot but atleast i could shield by brother. Now if i knew the person it would be a different matter. I would get between my brother and the attacker and try and talk him out of it and if that failed, go back to the original plans.

While most people would agree >>2 is a good option. I'll just state what repercussions it would bring.

Self-esteem. Your brother would subconsciously think that running away is always the solution. "Even my brother could even only report them, how much more me." It would also affect his confidence in you which will also affect him. A minus to esteem is the price to pay for every run-away.

Though there are indeed times where reporting to the police is the only option (the situation really do depend on a lot of factors). But reciprocating with equal ferocity is not always bad.

However as much as possible do >>2.
