My friend Jeremiah, Has a crush on my brothers girlfriend. She is a 6th grader and Jeremiah is a 7th grader so its not going to be serious. But I don't know whether to encourage my friend or defend my brother.

To say the least, you should definitely figure out how the girl feels about everything and encourage her to make a decisions. Picking a side will end up hurting people, you should just figure out who will be getting hurt, and support them through their pain. You should definitely not encourage your friend. Also you don't want to defend your brother because he should be able to handle his own stuff. Just be patient, wait for the right moment.

>>2 This.

>>1 How would a one year age difference make the couple "not very serious" anyway? o-o It's only one mother fuckin' year.

But really, just don't get involved until it's honestly necessary. It's not your business until someone makes a move. Don't defend your brother; don't help your friend. Let the girl take care of herself. If she does cheat and you know it, though, you should go ahead and tell your brother.

Boom, problem solved.

yeah, Going with your brother is probably best if you had to pick. I would say just sit back and watch though. But that is just me. I find those things terribly entertaining~

>>6 There are some mature kids of that age group who do have what I would dare call moderately serious relationships, but I agree that it's less than likely.

I say defend the girl involved, she's the victom in this.
let her go with who she likes and encourage it.

Don't defend either one. Tell your friend he shouldn't put his hopes on getting someone else's girlfriend, but otherwise stay out of it. If she cheats, tell your brother, tell your friend he's an idiot, possibly get rid of him. Let the girl choose who she wants, it's none of your business.
