Every parent wants their kid to do well in school but it's got to the point where I have panic attacks if I get a bad geometry grade. I suck at geometry. I have all high grades other wise but my mom only sees the bad ones. Last time I brought home a failing geometry grade she spent a half hour yelling at me about how useless and pathetic I am and that I might as well become a paid whore because I have no future and that she'll mAke my life a living hell if I bring her home another bad grade. Tomorrow I have to tell her I failed the class and need to retake it. How do I prepare for her anger lol also any study tips for geometry? I want a passing g grade on at least on test so I can staple it to her wall and show I'm not useless.

Sorry, I don't know what to say about your mom...

As for the studying, you can always tell your teacher you want extra help so you can do better. And they'll usually help you if you just ask, unless it's a really bad teacher...

In math, it's always better to just do the actual problems. Go online on websites and take virtual tests, do extra problems in your math textbook, etc.

I hope this helped. And I wish you luck :)

What're you learning in geometry? I'm taking the class as well. I may be able to help. Also, go to your teacher and ask for help. Most teachers dont mind sitting down with a student and explaining something or giving the student other options. As for your mother, tell her you simply dont understand it and tell her you are seeking help from your teacher. Ask her to get you a geometry toutor or something. Take her yelling, dont yell back, and once she is done ranting respectfully ask for her help.

First off, any mother trying to motivate their child that way is to the upmost right rude. She is still your mother though, but next time when you bring that bad geometry grade home, tell how proud you have it. Because that will later in life sculpt your future, and make you the better person in life. You have a future too, you just need to realize your goal and go for it!

As for geometry; you're not alone. I am THE WORST person ever at geometry, math period. So, even though I love helping people, I can't help with the geometry work.
