Hey Dollarteers, I need some help. I'm doing a rather important paper based on the Cause and effects leading to suicide and I wish to know based on your knowledge or you can reccomend a book or movie. I need the help because I have some of my own theories but it won't be enough. Thanks and See ya in a bit.

The truth is, there is no identifiable cause of suicide. People could pull the trigger for any number of reasons. Some people feel worthless, or alone. Some take a rather foolish form of revenge, trying to hurt the people that hurt them. Some people just feel like everyone hates them, and they should just do the world a favor. Suicide usually doesn't happen all at once. I don't know how many there are, but one gateway that leads to it is cutting. Self-harm may be someone's only relief, and that person may start to feel that there is no hope in life, and death is his or her only escape. They may also feel shame, or regret scars that will not heal. I don't know if you're looking for a psychological point of view, but that's the most I can tell ya.
