So I have been a member of the Dollars since June of 2011. In that time, I have involved myself in a variety of discussions and projects. It is at this time that I wish to express my gratitude to you all.

This term at my college, I have been tasked with writing a ten page paper for my Political Science course. The subject I chose was water resources in the US. Many of the sources I found thanks to prior water resources discussions I have had on the BBS. Therefore, it's thanks to you that I've been able to so passionately write about this topic.

The paper is 90% finished. When it's done, I plan to post it here. I really hope that you guys decide to read it. I would love to get feedback when all is said and done. Until then, I cannot thank the BBS enough for how much it's helped me gain knowledge. :)

So the paper is finally finished, and I'm hoping to get it published. As promised, here it is.

THE WATER RESOURCE BUREAUCRACY

So I wanted to just give a little update on this.

I submitted the paper as required, but I also discussed it with a reporter from Scientific American. The reporter in question, Jane Braxton Little, has been in contact with me about it and wants me to do a reconstruction of said paper centering this time around a specific aspect of the topic in greater detail.

In short, I basically got a reporter intrigued with my work and with her help, I might be able to turn this into a full fledged story. So we'll see.
