Hey guys, I have a problem >_<

How can I convince my mom to let me grow a mustache? and/or a goatee? Mostly the mustache, since I already have a bit of it. My mom keeps telling me she doesn't want me to have one because it's so ugly, but I disagree. I think that mustaches are very sexy and beautiful but she won't believe me. Besides, have you even heard of an Asian without a mustache? (I am Vietnamese)

Whenever we watch TV or a movie or something, I always point out celebrities and actors with great beards and I try to tell her how handsome they are, but she just says "I don't care, you are not getting a mustache (or beard or goatee)."

I already have a bit of a mustache, but I want to shave it because I heard it grows out more if you shave it. Is this true? That may be why she doesn't want me to shave either.

Please help, I don't know what to do. I don't think I'll be able to get any girls until I have a mustache. It will make me look so much manlier and mature. Or else women won't even give me a second though.

I've found that when my mustache grows in it gets kind of ugly and creepy. I recommend looking up pick up artist stuff instead, it helps a lot more, though it's a skill that takes time to learn. That being said, the best things are learned through trial and error, so if you want to make that mistake, then tell your mom that you want to try it and see for yourself that it is really so ugly. Personally, I get better results without one.

Well actually there is a specific girl I like and I heard from a reliable source that she is really into guys with mustaches...plus my brother has a really good mustache and he gets, like, all of the girls. Including some that I like, which makes me kind of upset.

Also what do you mean by artist stuff?

Here's what I got.

1) A mother often won't want their son growing a mustache because it's a sign that they're growing up.

2) Some guys just can't grow out a mustache well.

3) Some girls don't like facial hair.

4) It really depends on your age. There's an age in a guy's life where he needs it to not look like a kid, but after that time he won't need it any more.

You can talk to your mom face to face. When I was litle I wanted to do aikido and begged my mother everyday but she didnt want a GIRL to do aikido. She said it was strange. So I negged everyone in my family everyday and everynight and they let me do it. I was so happy but my mother was like what did you learn? My answer was easy; Fun.

What Im trying to tell you us not begging your mother but talking to her face to face like mother and son. When I have a son and he wants a mustache its up to him so even though I hate hairy faces I would let him, bevaus he isnt me and nobody is perfect.

In my opinion, I hate mustache but some girls do love men with mustache and think they are sexy. Also not each man looks good in mustache. So I think you can have a try and see whether you will looks good with mustache. Talk to your mother to give you a chance to have mustache and you will shave them if it looks bad. If she don't agree~~ummmmmm JUST DO WHAT YOU WANT!! Come on! Fight for your dream mustache man!

I say if you want a mustache then grow it. Unfortunately for some reason it doesnt grow for me, but I do get a devil goatee for some reason.

Draw facial hair with a black marker and see how your mom reacts. If she hates it and threatens to disown you, wash it off. If she approves, or simply doesn't care, wash it off and grow a real one. The point of this experiment is to avoid growing attached to your facial hair and emotionally hurting yourself when your mother tells you to shave it off :')

Hair does not grow back faster or thicker the more you shave it. How much body and facial hair you get is based off of genetics and age. Most guys can't get a full beard till mid 20s and other ethnic groups dont get much or any like american indians. and side note, fuck what your mom says, its your face, its her problem if she doesnt like it not yours.
