In our school we have group especially made for preventing bullying in school and I belong to this group and I can say that it works even though we do nothing because bullying is rare in my school.
As for the cyber bullying there is really nothing that I can think of except for straight up intimidation. I might be a bit violent but violence is a part of human nature, of course I don't get violent without a good reason because I prefer to avoid problems.

I would have probably grabbed her from the face, pushed her head back, tripped her and stopped the fall just few centimeters before back of her head hits the concrete, after this I would tell her to stop since the words will melt in her mind since they come right after near death experince . I sound psycho I know but fear really does work in situations like this and it makes rest of the bullies stop too since they get intimidated. Of course this might not be as easy for others than it is for me since all of my friends back me up 100% and wont get scared of me.
