Couldn't find a better place to put this, so here goes.
As we grow, as we gain understanding of the world, we become more secluded. Terms that were easy to express as a young child have gained truer meaning, and thus have been become harder to use. Speaking your mind is something you do in fear. Fear of disagreement, and ultimately, banishment. As we grow, more of our innocence is lost, and not only from media exposure.
We lose the ability to communicate as easily. Staying in touch with those close to you can become a chore. The simplicity that is there cannot be found, though right in front of us. As you come to understand the world, you lose understanding of everything else.
If there's someone who you once cared about greatly, I want you to contact them. Anyway you choose, just contact them. If you've had a falling out, talk to them. Make them understand.
If there's something you've been wanting to say to somebody, say it. It doesn't matter whether its I love you or I never want to see you again. Waiting isn't going to change anything. In the end, it'll only hurt you worse if you wait.
And most of all… Let children be children, because they don't have long anyway.

Here's a dramatic picture of the sky to make things seem okay.
