Well.. My girlfriend ( 16, me 16 ) will be graduating next week and, her classmates are planning to have a swimming party, somewhere far away.. And, I'm kind off against this party.. I haven't heard her opinion yet, but: How should I tell her that I don't want her to go? I text her this after telling her that I'm against this: Well.. It's still your choice.. But I'm very against it.. because you'll be graduating and you won't see your friends for some time so, I thought that you might want to come. BUT! I don't want you to go.. Then she replied: Hmmmmmm..
What does that mean? and, What should I do?

We don't argue a lot but.. When it comes to: Things like:
She doesn't want me to go, I don't want her to go to some place with some of her friends in school.. We always ARGUE with this issue..

Yer not her dad.
That's not what you want to hear, but by putting some bars around her by being against the trip that's what she's likely to see you as. Of course I understand why ya don't want her to leave, but I say let her go. Think of it as a test. If she comes back telling ya something that validates why you didn't want her going in the first place, see to it you either get over it as a bumb in the relationship. Depending on how you two react after the little "party" your relationship can either bring you closer together, or closer to reality. You said it was her choice though. So don't worry about it, otherwise you'll end up contradicting yourself later.
