As we are breathe we take shape in many ways, we are born with many perspectives. This world expects boundary and our minds are then limited to what it wants us to think. Are we nothing but slaves? Are we nothing but mere puppets? What is purpose? What do we do? IN the end it is needless to say we all die. Those who understand this will join me in saying there is no point. Those who see no point will give up just as we have. Is it not evident this world is rotting? Is it not obvious we are better off dead than to see a generation after another shatter our hopes.
We are that of forgotten dreams. We are lost, and no one will bother to find us. There is no such thing as purpose is there? So why do you all continue to smile?

1. the physical world. - the earth is not sentient, and thus 'wants' nothing. So I will assume you mean (2)
2. 'the world' as in society.
Yes society as a whole wants uniformity. But it is up to you to decide if you give it.

Yes we all die, but life is about the journey, not the destination. Do you wake up each day just waiting to go back to bed, With no meaning in your actions, save for the moment when you lie yourself down?

Those who see no point, no meaning in the day to day really should give up. The world would be better without them. For yes the world may be rotting, but that just means something needs to be done. If you can't see the point to that, then all you are doing is contributing to the shattered hopes of others.

Why do I keep smiling? Life is more fun that way, it doesn't matter if the happiness is just for a moment or a mere illusion that you mistake for reality from seeing other people smiling. In any case it doesn't matter if you are happy.
If there is someone pulling your strings, then cut those strings. It is your choice to be controlled or not.
Dying is just part of humans life and what matters is what you achieve or change before it.
There is no purpose for human when he or she is born so go and make your purpose.
Go and find some happiness from living, it doesn't make your life any easier to sit here and think about how everyone is gonna die, think about the past that you can not effect in any way, or worry about the future that you don't know what it brings with it, this is why I live at the present.
