Ok, so for the past year or so, there's this guy that I've been infatuated with. Not like, "oh, she's just smitten," or whatever. I mean, like real love. I've been doing so much to grab his attention, and now we're really good friends. But I want more than just a friendship. The big issue is that I don't know how to go about telling him. As far as I can tell, he knows that I like him on friendly terms, but I don't know if he'll accept me as his girlfriend (you could say that we're in a Naruhina relationship).
Should I wait for him to make the first move, or do I move first?

You should do what you want to and just follow your guts.

Maybe you should try and drop a few hints here and there and first of all see if he picks up on them. If he does pick up on what you have to give, then he should start dropping hints towards you too. But if he's quite shy depending on his personality then you should make the first move. However if he doesn't respond or doesn't like what he see... you may have to just move on and try and get over the feelings you have for him :(

You'd be better just getting him alone and asking him then. If I were you I wouldn't drop hints or he might take it as a joke or just friendly gestures. And also, I'd tell him soon because after a couple of years he'll start to think of you more as a friend more than anything else. It's happened to me before :3

So, I've finally told him that I love him.
And it turned out like a SakuraxSasuke thing. He hates me, and I'm still chasing him. I'm keeping myself distracted, but every time I think about him, it hurts.
What to do, what to do...

it's time like these that i personally keep close to my friends and spend time with them, or find an outlet for how you feel, (sport, hobby, anything you like to do). Talking about how you feel to someone you trust or is close to you so your emotions aren't bottled up inside of you is a good thing to try as well. The final part of this is to be patient and let time do the rest for you, many of us go through these moments in our lives, i know i did a few years back.
