My sweet 16 is coming up in a few months, and I've got no clue what to do. We live in Texas, and in this town, we have a strip mall and a movie theatre. That's about it. My family doesn't have much money, so doing something expensive is out of the question. I don't want a theme like most girls do, because it will only be a few of us and it seems pointless to me. What I am looking for here is ideas for something me and a few friends might be able to get together and do. I'm clueless here, and any help would be welcomed.

Also, not to try to influence you in any way, but alcohol usually makes a party better.
I didn't have a sweet 16 at all. My 18th birthday involved me and three friends eating a cheap dinner at a semi nice place and then me and one of them going to a Hansel and Gretel along with my brother (the other two didn't go because they aren't into that kind of movie). You don't have to have some huge thing, just be with your friends and have a good time.
Well...I always don't know what to do on my Birthday and at last just have dinner or go to Karaoke with friends, nothing special.But i do advise you to take photo or video chip about your daily life to record your lovely 16 (not the photos which just have a face/faces in it). You will find it's fun to see them after years.
