alright, so I need some advice. I have applied to 7 boarding schools: Andover, Lawrenceville, Deerfield, St. Pauls, Taft, Linden Hall and Madiera. I've already done all the requirements and am just waiting if I get accepted.

Last night I was told I got into Linden Hall with a scholarship for about half of the tuition cost. But here's the thing: I have to decide whether I attend the school before the others say whether I am accepted.i don't know if I should say yes or no.

if I say yes then I cant back out. What if Andover (though it is highly unlikely) accepts me? then I wont be able to go to Andover which is pretty much the #1 in the country. even if its not Andover but Taft or Madiera that send a letter of acceptance after I say yes, I wont be able to go there.

if I say no then my chance of ever going there is zero and if none of the other schools accept me...well, that chance goes down the drain. even if I do get accepted into the other schools, I will need financial aid to be able to attend, so if its not enough then the same result.

I've also done some research on Linden Hall and read some reviews on the school. the reviews were frustrating. One parent said that their guide for the tour had ditched them and the students bullied or where bullied. another parent would say how much of a family everyone was and how homey the school is.

I have to decide by Feb 13 so any opinions are welcome! also, if anyone has any additional info on Linden Hall please tell me!

I think you should take it. I mean, yeah all the schools are pretty awesome. So why don't you take Linden Hall? You might not get all the other one's but Linden Hall isn't a bad school right? Which is why you took the exam. If you don't get the other schools, you'll forever regret you didn't take Linden Hall. But if you take it and get all the other schools accepted, you wouldn't feel as bad. To sum it up, u take Linden Hall, get other schools accepted, = better. Don't take Linden Hall, don't get other schools accepted= worse. Cuz we can't predict if you get the other schools accepted. If you feel really confident, then go ahead. Take the risk.
