>>5 I hardly think this is philosophical enough for Main. Considering it revolves around work/school, it does fit in Personal. Feel free to argue the point, though.
>>1 There's nothing wrong with working. The only problem is people who work doing things they don't like. Humans follow a society. Even in countries that aren't communist, you still have to do your part to reap the benefits. If nobody worked, there would be no commodities. There would be no food. There would be no computers or video games. There would be no resturaunts or fast food joints. There would be no pharmacies. There would be no doctors, dentists, and certainly nobody who would perform a proper surgery.
Work makes us who we are. What you get out of work is different for every person, though. If you think you're only working for money, then you've already given up on life. Work IS life, because work is living. Work is being a part of the community. You don't deserve to live in our community if all you choose to do is sit at home doing nothing.
Working makes you who you are, because work and labor are you. It is completely natural. Do major countries stereotype work and go on and on about the monetary benefits? Yes. Do they brainwash kids to think that you have to work to make money to be happy? Of course. I don't agree with any of that. However, working is a normal process of life. Working is turning your hobbies and interests into something productive for you to follow through with so you can assist yourself, your family, your friends, and your neighbors.
