So i have this friend who´s a girl that i started to know last year. I was quite knew at that school and didn´t know anyone there and we were put in the same math class. She was the one who actually wanted to get to know me better and approached me but i was shy at start but later on opened myself up! And when the new school year was over we started school again after the summer break, and changed class. The thing was that i always would get nervous whenever i start a new school year because i would get put in another class with people i didn´t know so well. I saw the girl i was talking about earlier and we talked a bit, had a small chat and then kept doing what we were doing. But for like the first 3 weeks i kind of ignored her like it was meant as a joke and i didn´t ignore her 100% and she knew that i was joking but it wasn´t always because of that. I was actually starting to get shy around here EVEN though i had known her quite some time and it was actually in December last year i finally knew that i liked her more than a friend.. But then she told me to please stop doing the "Ignore" joke because she didn´t like that so much and i was like "Ofcourse, im sorry it was just a joke" And basically stopped doing it..BUT THEN SHE STARTED TO IGNORE ME AND I COULD SEE IT VERY CLEARLY THAT IT WASN´T MEANT AS A JOKE SERIOUSLEY....She is still doing it right know...She dosen´t say HEY unless i approach her and as i said i liked her more than a friend BUT THEN SHE STARTED TO IGNORE ME..So my question is: Why is she doing this and how can i fix this? Help me out here!

You shouldn't have been a dick in the first place. She probably doesn't see you or is busy.

apologize to her for ignoring her in the beginning of the year, express your feelings to her, and let her decide. You can't exactly blame her if she's mad at you for ignoring her. All you can really do is apologize and except what she says back because you screwed up and possibly hurt her feelings.

OP seems to be asking for a bit much. You were being an asshole; of course she's going to be an asshole back. Plus, why should she go out of her way to talk to someone who ignored her for the first quarter of the year?

Like dxb said, just confess to her already so she has a reason to express some sort of sympathy towards your sorry ass. She might feel bad after you confess or just decide she likes you back. In either of those cases, there's a possibility that she'll start talking to you again.

Or she might think you're a complete asshole for having the nerve to confess to her when she's avoiding you. It's hard to tell when I don't know her personally. Still, I say it's worth a try. She'll probably just continue to ignore you until her other friends get busy and she wants somebody to talk to.

Guys i kind of told you the wrong thing. It wasn´t 3 weeks that i ignored her, that would have been insane. I ignored here like almost 1 week but STILL it wasn´t okay and i totally understand that and i WILL NEVER EVER DO SUCH A THING TO ANOTHER GIRL! Thanks for opening my eyes, i will ask her out and express my feelings. I should have never ignored her in the first place...Im stupid sometimes :/
