I've been having super bad nightmares lately, bad enough that they're interrupting my relationships in reality. I've lost friends and probably (still unsure as of this posting) my girlfriend. This morning, in the throes of a panic attack I called her at school, and she seemed really (and understandably) angry with me. Well, we moved past that, and then again around 3:30 Pm est, I awoke from another, this time she had been in an accident. I texted her a few times, to no avail, so I called her. She said she was okay, but the rest of the conversation kind of felt like she was blowing me off because she was mad. She's really my only friend in the world, and I can't talk to my parents about the nightmares, because they just tell me "You're nineteen, they're just dreams. Grow the fuck up."
I guess in summation, I'm asking for someone to maybe help me stop the dreams, or at least some way to come down from the wild fear they spark up in me. Here's hoping one of you amazing people can help a poor broken man.

Well...Have you ever watched a comedy or something fun before you go to sleep? Also, you could try to sleep with the TV on...But if you do that and you keep having nightmares,I suggest that you talk to a doctor or your relatives/people you can trust about your bad dreams. But you should definitely do something about your problem!I don't want to freak you out but a relative of mine had the same problem and the cause of the nightmares was something serious...I'm not saying you're crazy, but don't ignore your problem!

Yeah, I usually watch silly stuff before bed anyway. Either that, or I'll play Megaman or something. Lately though, they've just gotten super bad. I'm not sure if it's because of Christmas, or just because they've suddenly decided to come back. I guess that's why I'm posting here. I want someone to talk to. I'm freaking out, I'm tired of constantly crying because my dreams leave real scars, ya know?

>>3 Hold on!!!When you say real scars, you mean wounds? When you wake up, are you bleeding? And,where do you have scars?(You can answer ONLY if you feel like it)You should talk to people you trust about that and ask them to help you!

>>4 No, no, not physical ones. Emotional ones. Like I said earlier, I've been in a constant state of panic over these dreams for going on a week now. I'm pretty sure my girlfriend hates my guts over it (though she says everything is okay, and tells me she loves me all the time). I'm just really scared. Like... the most scared I've ever been.

don't take everyone serious Threadbare, i think Mikoto was joking. see jokes are how some people handle stress, they laugh. others cry, others use sarcasum or work out or kill dasies or run

Only you can solve your bad dream problem, i believe your dreams in this case are manifestations of something stressful happening to you. i recommend you talk to a councelor at your school if you think you are leaning to hard on your friends, but make sure you say that. talk to you girlfriend and let her know that you are scared but you don't want to keep bugging here. find an outlet, the only one who has control over your mind to stop the night mares is you
