Well here is the problem: I have always wanted to become a computer technician and I am already at my 2nd year(senior year) of vocational and I have needed a job to reach my goal of a techshop, equipment and tools so I decided to take up another trade which would be tattoo artist and I really like it, but my main problem is I don't know what I "Want" to be anymore. Can a fellow Tech or maybe a career counselor help me out
Im no computer tech or career counselor but it sounds to me like you enjoy doing both of those things. If it were me i would do both. just pick which one you want to start first and do the other in free time at your job for extra money. Just trust your gut.
It's not like you're limited to just one. Is there anything stopping you from doing both? Not at the same time, of course. But later on in life, there's no problem with changing professions. Since you're already so far on your technician degree, maybe you should keep with that. Do a little drawing on the side to ease the yearning for being a tattoo artist. Your practice could grant you very good things for your future! All in all, do what you want to do. It's your life. Don't restrain yourself to what you 'think' you should do. Do what makes you the happiest. Good luck!~
