GPA (4)

I'm a freshman in highschool, and my semester GPA is around 3.45-3.57. How hard would it be to raise it to a 4.0?

that depends on your classes. If they're all level, then it's impossible. If they're all advanced, then pretty easy.

Here is a grading system.
Level:
A- 4.0
B- 3.0
C- 2.0
D- 1.0
F- 0.0

Pre-AP:
A- 5.0
B- 4.0
C- 3.0
D or lower- They put you into a level class.

AP:
A- 6.0
B- 5.0
C- 4.0
D or lower- they put you in Pre-AP

The college will convert this to a 4.0 scale. You'll have to talk to the college you wish to attend or adviser at your Highschool to figure out how that's converted.

Keep in mind, this may be wrong. If I'm wrong, then the AP scale is at the Pre-AP scale and the Pre-AP scale is at the level scale. I was in all level classes, so I never needed to learn this.

To give you an actual answer, OP:

As far as I am aware, you cannot reach 4.0 if you ever LEFT the 4.0 zone. All or nothing, basically. But hope is not lost! You can still bring your gpa back up to around 3.9 if you do well on every assignment you ever get ever.

Kidding. Since you're still a Freshman, you've got 3.5 more years of school to bring yourself up to a higher gpa. As long as you consistently do your work, do it well, and turn it in on time, you can bring your GPA back up to the 3.8-3.9 zone. Some schools might be cool enough to give you your 4.0 back, but I went to this little ghetto as FAWK school and they were still super stingy about gpa accuracy.

tl;dr

Do you damn homework and you'll be fine.
