I know of this girl for a few years... i fell in love when i first saw her.. i somehow get to know her and get together with her.. However it does not last long... i could not give her the sense of security that she wants.. After so long i still misses her.. So any suggestions for me to get over her.. Because this feelings of loving her but not getting back together is painful!

Sometimes talking about it helps you to find where the problem lied in yalls relationship, whose fault it was, what to prevent so it won't happen again. Why not talk about what you liked about this girl first?

Just to add it, from my experiences. Falling in love with the perfect women is always painful, because in the end there are no perfect people. And She is not perfect, deal with that. Idealizing anyone will only bring you down, once you realise that she is not that perfect.

Good thing though, as soon as you realise that she isn't perfect, you will be mature enough to put in your head that there is nothing like a perfect girl, or boy. Simple as that. And you will be much better to go for your next relationship.

I think that it's good that you're trying to figure this out. Adding onto >>4 I think that it would be good to talk to a friend and get out all of your feelings. At the same time, perhaps you could write her a letter that explains or just tells her how you feel and how you've been feeling. You don't have to send her the letter, but you could keep it for your own use: to remember the good times and whatnot.

Personally, I've been in similar situations and just talking to the right person can really help.
