so about 2 year a go my dad died, and at the time one of my favorite people in the world started doing drugs and realy freaked me out. we moved to a town where i have to drive for 2 hours if i want to see any of my friends. and that person i mention befor just got out of jail and wants to be best friends with me agian. i'm just not sure if i can trust her. so if you have any advice it'll realy help.

You can hang out with her, but not trust her. If you have been apart for quite a while it could be like meeting a new person. If that is the case just treat her like a new acquaintance. But if she keeps nagging you then there is most likely something wrong, also it's a bad sign if she keeps nagging you saying the both of you were good friends. If she does that it usually means she just wants something from you, not a friendship.

If it's weed, she's probably ok to hang out with. If it's Crack, Crystal Meth, Heroin, LSD, Ecstasy, Psilocybin Mushrooms, or PCP you should stay away from her.

I really don't think the drugs are too big of an issue, since I have a couple friends that do all kinds of drugs. They haven't pressured me into doing any of them either.
A red flag is if she keeps pestering you for something. Even if it is just making remarks of, "We used to be good friends right?" That usually just means she is trying to get something out of you. Also if she keeps trying to pressure you into doing druggs I would set the rule that if you hang out she has to get sober first.

Drugs are often disguised as something else so you'd better be carfull though. My friend thought he was eating some fruit and next thing he knew he had rubber arms.
OK srs drugs aside do you have a nice time when she's around? What is she actually like sober? Make sure that id you don't want to take anything then don't. Straight out refuse or change the subject. A good friend wouldn't push you to do something harmful.
