Hey Dollars members, um, I'm kinda in a dilemma, and it's tearing me apart. Literally, I've been yanking my hair out because of this.

So, there's this new book that came out, called "Mark of Athena" by Rick Riordan. I really wanted it, but at the same time I'm caught between getting Assassin's Creed 1, 2, Revelations, and 3. I also needed to save up for Halo 4... But then there's also another book called "Caught" by Margaret Peterson Haddix, and it's the book I need to find out about time conspiracy and all...

BUT I ONLY HAVE FRICKING $20!

By the end of the week, I'll get up to $25 though. But even $25 isn't enough to afford all of this. So, this is where you guys come in. I need your opinions on which item I should buy first. So what do you all think?

Actually, I'll go more in-depth on the books. Mark of Athena continues right where The Son of Neptune leaves off, it's the book that's been keeping on edge for quite some time. The book revolves around 3 (Possibly 6) main characters, all of whom backgrounds twist and turn into one another's lives. The setting is modern 2012, but with a little touch of Greek and Roman mythology. Like, Minotaurs and gods and swords, etc.

Now, Caught is about 2 siblngs who have to travel through time when some time traveling kidnappers steal famous kids from history, and put them up for adoption to get cash. (Famous kids like John Hudson, Virginia Dare, so on.) And in this book, the siblongs have just returned from 1611, but now they have to go back in time and rescue Einstein's secret daughter. There are people gelping them, like expert time travelers. The last book Torn didn't really leave a cliffhanger behind like Son of Neptune, so I wasn't as excited.

Spend that $25 on ice cream.

It tastes better than all of those other things.

???

Profit.

You could wait till you have more money, do the thing small chillins do.
i say make yourself a huge note so you dont forget about any of it, and come back when you can buy all the stuff. That way you dont have to wait for when you have enough for one, theyre all already in your posession.
also, creesmas is in a couple months, so theres that

Read it at the local bookstore or check it out at the library. That's what I did when I didn't have enough money for Son of Neptune and I'm checking out Mark of Athena tomorrow.

If you have a pc the assassins creed games are on sale for 5 dollars now and then for steam. Either way you need to wait, or do something for extra cash.

Same here. I want the same book too and the one before that. and I need like 15 books to complete my sets of books and The Kane Chronicles, Inkspell and the others, Cresendo. I also want a lot of others stuff like cosplay stuff, headphones. I suggest you first buy Mark of Athena if you don't have other books to complete.

>>1 I know how you feel. I mean, I have $55, but i'm still in the same situation. I'm getting Halo 4 regardless, have that preordered with some other money I have. But then there are other games like Dishonored, Assassin's Creed III, and the Zone of the Enders HD Collection. The first two are 60, the third is 30. And while the one is thirty, there's also alot of anime i'd like to buy, like both boxed sets of Clannad/Clannad After Story, both Death Note Re:Lights movies, entire Gundam series, etc. Sadly, all that can get expensive, and I wouldn't be able to even get an entire series for what I have. Wish I had a job, then I could afford all this. Sadly, I don't.

Go for the game. I never liked the Rick Riordan books after he finished Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
