Well,I have a really nasty tv addiction. It's taken over my whole life.I love tv and want to be a director/actress, but I don't want it to ruin anything else for me. How did any of you fellow dollars get over your addictions, if you had any?
It wouldn't be healthy for you to stop it all together - everyone needs their own hobbies, interests, etc. Just ease it out gradually, and maybe limit yourself to how much TV you watch a day.

First thing, it's good that you realize the problem. Now it's simply finding the willpower to wean yourself off. I suppose it may not seem easy, but hey, it's not like drugs or anything, right? Just keep thinking that it's easy, and it should be easier to stop.
