The title should explain my feelings in general.
I feel like everything about me just irritates my family like they think I'm useless to them somehow. I can just look at them and see they're upset. when I ask them what's wrong they smile and say nothing's up, but they say certain things that just leave me boggled...I don't what to say or do. Should I just change who I am? That's the question I've been thinking lately.

Never change who you are just to make people happy. I have half the world hating me. But I wouldn't change who I was.

Don't you dare change for your family. If they're ashamed of you then they're just assholes. If they are ashamed of you then it'll hurt, but it'll be worse if you try to change yourself for them. The best advice I can give you is to surround yourself with friends who like you for who you are.

It's your life, not theirs. Unless you're doing something wrong on a criminal level, there's no reason for them to be ashamed of you or dictate how you live.
Never compromise who you are for anyone.

Yeah. Dont change for anyone. You gotta walk your own path, and who ever doesn't like... Right to the moon with'em. In other words. They can shove their oppinions where they make brown unless they're on a camping trip, and their anxiety gets to them. Then ya know, choke on it, kick rocks, eat s*** and... well, yeah, all apply

One day they'll realize that they can't live your life for you, and hopefully they'll decide to support you. You have to make them recognize the path you've chosen.
