Earlyer this night as I was drifting off to sleep I opened my eyes. Atthe end of my bed stood what looked to be a man wearing a trench coat and hat no other details could be seen due to it being black as if it was only a shadow . I just layed there starring at it for 1-2 seconds untill my mind processed. I jumped and quickly turned on my bed side lamp to see it had vanished. I believe I have encountered a shadow person. This is my first expearence except for one thing I recall in the past. I was in a hotel with my dad he was in the bed across frOm me and there looked to be a figure walking towards my father. If there are Other dollars who have seen one please

Hm. I haven't experienced that before, but I think it may just be a gift you have. Maybe people who were in your family were watching over you or something. I dunno. I know my mom saw my grandpa watching over me when I was a baby, and she thought it was my dad because of the energy he gave off, and then she checked later after figuring out it wasn't my dad, and the figure was gone. Maybe same basic concept but shadows for you.

i think me everytime i walk in my house i feel like something following me then if i look back i see a shadow that vanished but it was only once since others were too fast to vanish i can catch them on the act it is impossible to catch them on the act

>>1This happened to me once. Group of friends and I were walking down this lone road in North Florida. Its a very desolate bushy place. Lots of trees and swamps on both sides of the road. Its about a 45 minute walk. One way in and one way out. At least that is what we think. About 30 minutes in a tall gaunt man in a black trench coat and a round black hat can be seen walking towards us. We sort of slow down. The girls in our group wanted to get their pepper spray ready just in case.

The guy passes us and looks at us. None of us really remember his face. It was too shadowy either on the road or his on face. We all remember his eye. Deep blue. Anyway he passes us. We check our back a couple times and he's still walking away from us. In front of us another tall gaunt figure in a black trench coat and hat approaches us. We look behind and the other guy is still walking away from us. The guy in front of us looks at us and we all swear it was the same guy. He smiles at us this time and we are tempted to run. But a brave friend of mine had to ask, "Hey, didn't we pass you already."
The guy says, "Yes."
And he keeps walking. We look back twice. But the road bends so on the second time we thought he disappeared but he could have just turned the bend. We were freaked but one of my friends suggested they had to be twins that just liked to joke with people who walked on that road. i want to believe in the latter. The idea of shadow people freaks me out.

Do you remember if his hat was round?

Heard they could be both. But most said to be neutral. They just sort of watch things and we aren't suppose to see them. Some serve a specific function. Guard a road or a house.

Sometimes I see things at the corner of my, like people moving, but when I look directly at tit it dissapears. I can always feel when somethings near though. And I actually felt something touch me at some point. I was in my bedroom watching tv, when I felt like I was frozen, I couldnt move, and I felt something come towards me. I felt a cold hand grab my arm when I looked it was like a grey shadow and then it disspeared. This happen to me alot, Like everybody here is saying it's probably just a gift you have. u r no alone in this.
