I dont like violence but if i see some one get bullied or getting picked on i will go and help them im not going to leave it or get someone else to help because i feel that it is more righteous to do so

Depends on the reason they are getting picked on. If they are getting picked on for say stealing stuff or trying to start a fight then it's their own fault and they need to be taught a lesson. But if in that situation it goes to far then there is no problem with intervening. If the person/people are getting bullied then like you said; "go and help" because it is the right thing to do.

I try to use violence as a last resort. I prefer intellect as my weapon of choice. Simply stating what a bully is doing is considered harassment and they can be fine/jailed for a period of time is usually enough to stop them, if not, well things get bloody.

A guy I have feelings for and used to be good friends with got in a really bad fight on our bus with a highschooler when we were in junior high. He was suspended for only a week or so... but I got so pissed off at him that I went off on him for being a violent idiot numerous times. He later told me that he got in that fight because the highschooler was talking about me in a sexual manner and it made him beyond angry. I felt awful after that for how I'd treated him when he was only trying to stand up for me.:/
So, I guess I believe that violence is alright SOMETIMES. I hate seeing my friends get hurt, though... >.<
