Save the parties for after/before the time you designate. Pay attention in class, and be sure to take plenty of notes to review. Even if you don't do particularly well on tests, if you keep your homework grades up and try your hardest in your classes (if your professor offers it, don't be afraid to stay after or get tutoring from another student), your grades will still come out rather well in most classes.
Just stay focused and try to get grades better than usual. You /can/ bring your GPA up. (As I need to do.) Just keep going.
