I would like to have everyone's oppinions about forced marriage in any way.

It may be forced as in the parents decciding it because of family relations, or because of practical reasons (as in stopping a company from going bankrupt and keeping people from losing their jobs).

Anyway. What do you think of this in any way?

It's WRONG. Marriage is about LOVE, not STATUS.

It may sound horrible, but personally, I don't actually care that much about set-up marriages. I don't believe in love, so what's the point? As long as my future spouse isn't abusive or something, it doesn't matter to me. I think people fuss way too much about love.

A forced marriage isn't that big of a deal if it's done right. You can marry someone to combine companies, but you can just call it an open marriage and do whatever you want anyway. In modern countries, forced marriage isn't common nor is it necessary. In other countries, though, where it's forced and they actually have to follow all their vowes, I think it's pretty screwy. Then again, I think normal marriage in most third-world countres is pretty screwy.

We can't really argue about any form of marriage if it's a Cultural thing. If we do, we should look at our own and see what the other cultures are saying about the way marriages work in the area we are in.

I'm not for, yet I'm not against any kinds of marriages.
