What should I do? (24)

1 Name: Shika : 2012-05-09 18:53 ID:TAOcsVzy [Del]

As a forewarning, I know what I did was stupid so please don't lecture me about not doing it anyways.

So, I was on a feild trip and we came back earlier than we were supposed to so i skipped the last 20 minutes f my language arts class. (If you knew my teacher, you would have done it, too)and my friend got all mad at me because I did. So, he told her mom, who s on good speaking terms with my mom, (who would kill me if she knew)and told me that i deserved to be punished.

So tell me, fellow dollars, should i forgive her, should i quit on her, or was she right?

Your friend is an idiot.

Get over it.
You broke the rules and got caught.
Being mad would just be a waste of time.

Your friend sounds like a jackass for telling on you.

Seriously, that's total bullshit. What a condescending bitch.

Note that this is the only thing I've heard about her, so I'm judging based on this act alone. It's what a condescending bitch would do, as a statement of self-worth in comparison to someone that considers them a friend. The only reason to do it would be for her own sense of pride in being a "good student" when compared to a "bad student" like you.

Which is, again, bullshit.

Also, your friend is a rat.
Don't be friends with rats.

>>7 Uhhhhhh...that doesn't change the fact that she totally sold you down the river.

She sold you out for no reason. What do you think is going to happen when you get into a situation that's bad for you and she DOES have a reason to rat you out?

so i guess im sposed to play devil's advocate, becuz something just seems wrong right now, even if there really isnt.

1. Why would you skip 20 minutes of class? YOU BADASS BRROOOOOO. But seriously, you'd rather risk getting yer ass whupped by your own mom because of your frend, than spend 20 minutes of the day with your english teacher? That's just sad.....truth is, you've made it this far in the year, just hang on a little longer. But NO. you had to go do that......i mean what'd you do anyways? Hide in the bathroom? Walk around campus? Go to the vending machines? The library? What? It's twenty minutes of nothing, you could've spent it in an airconditioned room, sheltered, surrounded by other children. Supposedly not doing anything (like Misu, I'm gonna pull some o' dat context out. :V). I mean, if you were on good terms with your teacher, which I'm also assuming you must not be, then your teacher would be fine with you skipping the last 20 minutes, my teacher does. Everything is about communication, make sure you get that in there. >:T

2. Suppose she has a slight abandonment thing, are both her parents there? Or she is/was having a bad day? Talk to her first, don't just ditch her alone. If you hate your teacher, don't you think she does too? What if she ditched you right after a field trip to go do NOTHING while you were stuck alone with that taecher of yours. It makes no sense, or at least your story is one sided. Because you obviously have to be a nincompoop of a friend to believe your friend (and this time im guessing she is/was a good friend to you) wouldn't care. She CARES for you, so of course she wants you to go enjoy life without Mrs. Whatsit, but she might have wanted you to have showed her that you cared for her too, and invite her to ditch with you.

But this all buries down to one little nice plant....or wutsit analogy, the real reason is: Ditching is bad. Once you get away with it, you feel like you can do it again, and again, and again. And then it becomes a cycle, and then bad things happen and you end up working at mcdonalds.... So please don't, it's only 20 minutes......ONLY 20 minutes of your life, sitting in a nice area.

Think about the children in Africa or India or just third werld countries in general. They don't get an air-conditioned, sheltered room, let alone a house, or education. If they had the chance to go to school, they would live at your teacher's room for their whole lives. But you couldn't stand 20 minutes with your friend there. I cant....I must say I'm sumwat disappointed...

You should just ignore your bitchy-ass friend until she apologizes to you.

why skip 20 minutes its 20 minutes and you said it was after a field trip then you probly would not have done anything any way so why not stay and talk to your friend gosh that would make a little more since than skipping and possibly getting caught stupid move

23 Name: Palmtop Kitten : 2012-05-11 00:17 ID:J82At3Gf [Del]

mmmm I don't think it was a good idea to skip out of class but then again it was only 20 minutes but, none-the-less, I dn't think you friend should've ratted you out. That stupid I mean c'mon 20 minutes .. seriously big whoopty doo who cares? its not like your going around smokin' meth or anything(that we know of) seriously that was completely unnessary and really uncool. I'd don't think its enough to ruin a friendship though so I'd ignore her until shes apologized.

You should grit your teeth an bear it. You broke the rules and got caught, now man up and stand by your decision.

Never once when I got caught for skipping school (all day, not just some 20 min.), never once did I try to make anyone else out to be the bad guy. It was my decision, and I knew the risk. You should do what I did and grow up, and accept responsibility for your actions.
