Doesn't it kind of suck, when you’re the same person I am. I think you know who you are. Those people who have ideas, who have aspirations, who have goals and desires, but who don’t have the drive to accomplish them. It’s not like you can’t do it though, or like you’re not putting yourself out there because you’re scared of failure. It’s something more than that. It’s like you feel like something’s missing. You know you have the potential, because when push comes to shove, you end up getting shit done, even when pressed for time. At first, you were satisfied with just getting by on only the minimal amount of effort, but after a while you’ve become dissatisfied with just getting by. You look at people around you and envy their accomplishments, their rewards, their praise, and wish, not that you had their earnings, but their drive. You’re tired of the same old same old, and you want to try something new. For once, you want to give it your all, at something, at anything. But there’s something there that’s preventing you from doing so, from kicking ass, from trying your best, and from showing the world what you’re really made of. You know that you have a problem, and you know that something has to be done about it soon, or else you’ll end up living a half-assed life for the rest of yours. Still, no matter how hard you try, or how many times you do, you can never accomplish anything. And trust me, you’ve tried many times…if you’re anything like me…

I get the feeling every once in a while, especially if I knew I could have done it.

Oh I get the feeling every day. However as of late my inhibitions have changed to be based, not on my own feelings, but on obligations to my family. I sit here, alone, every night, often far too late to be of any use the next morning, doing the same thing, all while my friends are out there making something of themselves. I want to join them, and if I had the opportunity, I would do so at the drop of a hat. However, as much as it interferes with my own life, to the point where I can't even go get my driver's license yet at the ripe age of 23, I'm needed here. I have to help keep my grandmother alive... So... While I want to get out and become the voice actor I know I'm meant to be, I can't do it just yet.
