Personal Problem with a Religion. (10)

1 Name: PainKiller : 2012-04-29 12:34 ID:joRdFqa9 [Del]

Lately I'm being visited by these Morman missionaries. They came first at the door and my Dad told them to come back another time. Second time they visted couldn't have been the worst. It was when I had just woken up thinking my girlfriend was at the door coming by. Instead, the guys caught me unguarded and asked to come by. Reluctantly, I said yes. They came, did what they wanted to do, "taught" me a few things and left. They came just today, and I answered, but my mom kind of told them to come another time, like my Dad.
Now here's my problem. We're a pure Pentecostal Christian family. And personally, I'm a very nice person, not by opinion. I just can't be mean. It's not in my blood. But if I don't tell these guys to leave us alone, we might never see the end of them. What do I do?

Oh, you got stuck with the bikers, that sounds so fun.
Best thing you can do is just say something along the lines of "im content with my religion, and I dont plan on becoming part of the morman community any time soon." Feel free to reword it where you feel its necessary

Since you can't be mean, get someone who IS mean to slam the door in their faces.

Or just do what sleep said >>2. I second that.

I'm going to go with BarabiSama first. It seemsthat sleep's method should be a last resort. Thank you both.

>>4 Let me slam the door in their faces for you. It wouldn't be the first time I slammed a door in a mormon or jehovah's witness. <.< It's not being mean, after all, I did tell them don't come by anymore...and they still do.

So insulting people vs saying no?

Some people don't take no for an answer. Insulting them is the only way to get them to leave. No one likes being insulted, well...except me. I love it.

Religious people who come to your door never take no for an answer.

My dad is a liberal religious nut. When any religious door-knocker comes a-knocking and they act even slightly conservative, he invites them in, gives them a glass of water, and they sit down for an hour or two arguing until my Dad wins and they leave.

It's hilarious to watch.
