Okay, I'm tired of trying to compete with threads on the main board, so I'm making this thread.

The topic of this thread is simple. What kind of people do you hate? What kind of people do you enjoy being around? How are those two people different? Are they similar in any ways?

I'll start us off. Generally people I hate are people that hate me. There are more people that hate me than people that I hate. The people that I hate are people that are stupid. I've said this in almost every post I've written. I absolutely DESPISE stupid people. Ignorance I can stand. You can just inform them. Ignorant people are especially good when they know of their ignorance and seek out the answers. It's the people who are flat out stupid. Yes, stupidity and ignorance can get confused, but the stupid people are the ones that have the ability to seek out knowledge, or have the knowledge right in front of them, but refuse to except the knowledge or the fact that they need it. Ignorant people are the people who do not have the ability to seek out that knowledge, or don't have it right in front of them.

It's not the fact hat they are stupid that pisses me off either. It's the fact that they ask stupid questions, or try to argue with me without using intelligence. Someone tried to argue with me over whether or not water expands when it freezes. It pisses me off when they argue with me over it, but if someone else says they exact same thing I do (sometimes it's during the argument and sometimes it's weeks later) they automatically think that THAT person is RIGHT. It's like they think I'm a fucking idiot that doesn't know what I'm talking about.

People I like are generally people that are intelligent. Sometimes they hate me, but I still like them. I like to have an intelligent conversation that has nothing to do with false perceptions and emotions. I enjoy not having to deal with "pity me" conversations all of the time. I enjoy it when people see to reason and correct me when I'm flawed.

Intelligent people don't correct me when I'm right. I know I'm not always right, but stupid people act like I'm always wrong. I can be right sometimes just like everyone else. I am wrong sometimes just like everyone else. I enjoy an intelligent debate not a stupid argument.

I also love people who are different. They are interesting. They spike my creativity and inspire me. Not only that, but people who are different are usually wise. They see the world differently and react differently. I find it thrilling. I love it when I meet someone who is different because they are harder to understand. I love trying to understand someone, and I love the challenge of trying to understand people that society marks as "different."

There is nothing to understand about stupid people. There is no logic and there is no reasoning. It just is. The only argument that a stupid person can give is "because I said so". Nothing they say drives me or makes me think. They have nothing going on in their mind, so they can't even be straight forward or indirect. They simply open their mouth and shit comes out.

Now that I've made my rant for people I hate and praised the people I love, I want to see what kind of people you hate and what kind of people you like!

To be honest, I'd agree with the fact that I hate people that hate me, of course(hello bullies!).I also hate people who just keep talking and talking about things that really don't interest me, and always focusing to themselves(selfishness), and those who give up right away before trying.

I love people who are unique and wise. They somehow are pretty interesting. I sometimes even look up to them to be successful.

I really don't like the sort of people who think that they're so much better than the rest of us. Fuck that. The're ordinary people too. I also hate those sort of people who don't try. I sit and watch these people say, "Oh, this is too hard, I can't do this" as an excuse, when, really, they are just being lazy. It's really annoying.

Normally I really like laid back people. Ones that you can joke around with and not have to treat everything seriously. These people I can relate a lot to and if they reach a level of chill I can also end up semi-worshiping them.

The people who I hate are those who can't take a joke and are completely oversensitive. Whats even the point of living if you spend all your life worrying and getting worked up over stupid things.

I guess I'm a bit of a dreamer in that I don't hate a group of people for anything. I sometimes wanna smack people, but I know they are doing what they do for a reason, and I can't hate that. I also feel that people always have one good trait that stands out, even I can't see it, I know some one does. haha xD

If anything the only person I can say I hate is Myself sometimes for betraying something I believe in to get results I want.

I don't really "hate" people. I greatly dislike some individuals, but I don't hate them, and I don't really dislike any specific group/style of people. I wouldn't go around screaming about how much I don't like them, either, and I wouldn't get caught up on it.

I guess I dislike people who vocalize their judgements of others. It's fine to judge people--like it or not, everybody does, including every single person who is reading this--but I don't think it's okay to go around preaching your assumptions about people. It's rude and uncalled for.

Regarding stupidity and ignorance, I don't hate either types, and my definitions are different than yours. To be stupid is to have a less profound form of mental retardation; you're born stupid, and no amount of studying or hard thinking is going to change that. Ignorance can be cured. They just have to learn about what they're ignorant about, and then they won't be ignorant anymore. My problem is with people who are lazy asses who are only ignorant because they're too lazy to teach themselves or even attempt to learn whatever they need to learn.

Otherwise, I don't think there's any reason to hate and judge someone for a reason that isn't a personal reason.

I will except pretty much any reasoning behind ignorance vs stupidity as long as there is logic behind it and there is signs that it has been thought out.

I hate when people drink to get drunk. It just gets on my nerves. When someone comes and says:"Well I'm gonna go get drunk you take me home.". Well fuck you take yourself home. I'm always late beacouse of those mothafuckers.
I hate hypocritical people. I hate those poeple who look down on every single being in the planet and act like bitches. I hate when a person talks about honesty and then some girls comes cuts her hair and asks everyone about their opinions beacouse she isn't sure if it was a mistake and that fucker says you're disgusting. I hate when someone claims to be a true friend who would give his/her life for that friend but wouldn't give a nail. I hate liars.
Well not actually hate it's more like they piss me off.
I like those poeple who give you a good feeling. It's really hard for me to explain it's just that give you a feeling like they do everything and say everything from the hearts not from their heads.

I don't really hate people... I'm actually a very loving and forgiving person (this is very often not necessarily a good thing)...

I guess I dislike people who completely disregard basic rules and then get mad whenever they are called out on it. I also agree with BarabiSama on the judging people thing. But other than that, if there are people who get on my nerves, I just ignore them and pay them no mind, so I can't really say I hate them.

People I like... Well, I like everyone until they give me a reason not to. I guess the people who I make good friends with are fun to talk to and I can mess around with. People who have a lot of the same interests as me and who like me for me. People who respect my decisions and opinions and whose opinions and decisions I can respect, but still get in a nice debate with, without it getting overly personal. (I really like debating... If my school has a debate team, I'm joining.) But most of all, if you're a good person (everyone has their flaws, that doesn't mean you aren't a good person) and don't pretend to be something you aren't, we'll get along brilliantly. :3

I like people that are open mined to other peoples beliefs, interest, etc. I hate people that aren't open mined. That's all I have to say about that.

The people I like are the caring and the kind, the ones who accept you or at least tolerate you and let you be you. I hate hypocrisy and those who judge others falsely. Basically what Sana said

Okay. honestly speaking I agree with hating people that hate me. I also really hate people that dont try to solve things by themselves. those people that try to suck off othersand then conplain because something that they wanted wasnt there when clearly they are searching for it in the wrong place. They want everything to be spoonfed to them and it just ticks me off. Dont get me wrong. i dont hate 'stupid' people. its just the fact that they are just laying there trying to leech off someone that tries so hard and just complains because a certain thing wasnt explained for them. it also goes with all those people that asked me to do their art assignment for them in middle school and elementary school.

People I like are people that like me. but honestly doesnt everyone like them? (Lol) i like honest people. although their remarks may hurt a bit, its netter than lying outright to your face.
and also people tht have alot in common with me, or friends that I have made from a job.
