My family is on an all out war with each other because my grandfather is very rich and they're fighting for the money if and when he dies. It's like they are just waiting for my grandpa to die, whenever he gets sick, they keep on talking about who gets what land and whatever. They don't even think about my grandfather's life!! I feel so sorry for my grandpa because he doesn't even complain that all his children don't care about him anymore. He was always the one that keeps all my uncles and aunts at bay and now that his life is in danger, my family's in utter chaos. I want to do something about it but they don't listen to me because I'm just a granddaughter... my opinions aren't important to them. What should I do?! I want peace in this family again, for my grandfather's sake... tell me, what can I do?

Well unless doing something drastic and dangerous, I'm not sure. You can show your grandpa that you still love for being him and not money, well you can alwas try to convince him to not legate any money to your family, if money ruins it that badly. Well, that would be quite a bad option though, if they find out that you're the cause of it, or too ask grandpa telling them that no money will come out for fighting.

To a lesser extent, I've seen the same thing from my family.

People are stupid, and greedy.

If you get a chance to tell your family how stupid they are without making things worse go for it!

Other than that, Terroth is right. All you can do is be there for your grandfather. Maybe talk to him about it alone.

If it's not too touchy a subject, maybe even ask him if he's had a last will and testament written up. If his estate is in order, you're family can't do anything he doesn't want, and maybe they'll calm the heck down.

If you are some sort of goth, well you should really change yourself into someone SO UNLIKELY for you to become, like if you are a ms. goody-goody then it's time for u to rebel so that u can get their sttention, but don't take it seriously u still need to revert back into your old self,

However, if this happened to me, then the next time I saw them arguing, I'd yell this at them. No holding back, get their attention.

Sorry to say this but your family are assholes.All they care about is the money!? Forget them I think your grandpa needs as much support and love from his family sense he's getting old.He is probably heart broken to know they don't care but he keeps quite so his family doesn't hate him.Your family are some selfish people.They may be but you aren't, support your gramps on your own if you have to.If it doesn't work out you tried your best for someone you cared about.

thats so terrible! i hate when families fight like that... especially when its about a will. keep supporting your grandfather! maybe if you act caring toward him, your family will follow! I feel so bad for him, his children are treating him like he's just some prize to be claimed and not a human person...
