Well hello everyone who is reading this thread. Apparently i have no friends but a great family like you guys to back me up on advice. Ive been all around the city of "Brotherly love" and has not found love or a brother in arms. I see the city wasting away with nothing to do or or just to stop it from. I have thought of fear welling up inside of me for the past year. That fear came upon one question "Will i be lonely for the rest of my life?". I always question my self with it and my only answer is that im depressed. I maybe too young for it but it's something we can't seem to controll. I dont know how to live how i was when the high point was the finest. i once seen a great saying from Shakespeare in my downtown area, "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players." I wonder what it syndicates in my life. Life is just a metaphor. Love is hopeless. Now tell me this, Is there really something wrong with me or with the world?

you and me have very similar outlooks on life. but the reality is that its not you, its the world. to many people are caught up on useless matters to even help a person who is on their last stand. yes you are depressed, but you are also fed up with the way the world is becoming... i know how you feel, no matter what, you will never be alone

Realizing things are wrong with the world is a good thing. It shows you're broadening your mind to accepting those facts and understanding them.

Not coping with them, and dwelling on them like they're supposed to hinder you? Not a good thing.

Understanding the bad parts about life, the world, society, humanity, whatever, is just a means to understanding why bad things happen or exist. It should never stop someone from making the most out of life. If everyone came to the conclusion that life is a horrible, meaningless existence, and there's no point to anything, we would've all committed suicide long ago. I mean, I know that's not necessarily what you're saying, but it's what a lot of people who reach this conclusion like to think. Especially if it's the first time they hear it.

The answer is no. You won't be lonely for the rest of your life, if you choose not to be. It's a conscious decision - nobody's going to fall into your life and be your default automatic friend unless you open yourself up to the possibility. Try new things with groups of people; actively talk to people; try to get to know your acquaintances more. Show some confidence and don't be such a downer about your existential ponderings.

A certain phrase applies here, as it does in many situations:
The world isn't as bad as you think.

tl;dr - quit yer bitchin
