Okay, so, I know I'm being a bitch about this and over-reacting but...here's the story:
All my life, the only thing I've ever had confidence in, or wanted people to notice, was my singing voice.People have always complimented me on other things, and only in elementary did people say I was good at singing.
Now I already know my friends are assholes, and mean to each-other. I swear they are bent on destroying what little self-esteem I have.Then, my friend Alex tells me that I'm not that good at singing, and so does my friend Zack (yes, I known this is really silly and I'm being a little bitch about it).
So today I decided I would prove everyone wrong.I finally found a way to record my voice (my mp3 player since it's all I have) so I wanted to put a song I sang on youtube, maybe a few people would enjoy it even.So, I started recording and I felt really confident, and then my brother burst through my door and yelled at me, being upset that I was singing so loud.I was completely crushed.Finally I had worked up the courage, only to have it dashed down.
My question is- Should I try again?Or should I give up my dream?
I know I won't get famous or anything, but I just want to be heard.I just want to do something that I want to do.Have confidence in what I tell myself I'm good at, not others.
Damn I hate myself for this....I'm being such a little bitch...

try again no matter what keep trying no matter what anybody says we all have challenges in life but we have to work through them just keep trying and you will get through this one

Don't fret, I have similar problems recording my singing. just wait for a few minutes when everyone else is out of the house! ^^ Good Luck!

Don't give up

Wait until you're home alone to record.

I share this problem. Like Misuto said, just wait until you're alone. Also, if you have a patch of woods or an old park that people don't go to, you can usually sing and record there without being bothered. Don't give up just because you have an annoying brother.

However, don't blindly push aside their harsh criticisms and assume they're all trying to be mean. There is unfortunately the possiblity that you really aren't that good at singing. I don't mean to sound rude, and I haven't heard you sing before, but if everyone agrees that you suck, there is a possibility that you do indeed suck.

Okay,I won't stop trying.Also, once I do record it, I'll put it on here(link), so then do you guys think you could tell me what you think about my singing?

Don't give up!It's not your fault you sing because you want to.The important thig you need to know is that there are people that will support you! ^_^*

Record yourself when nobody is home so u can at least have your voice heard for once! U can do it

Don't give up on what you really want! Don't be a pushover! Stand up for who you are and show them your awesomeness!

And you are not a bitch by complaining about this. People cannot just put you down and expect you to condescend to them.
