Alright, I am now just realizing that I have trust issues when it comes to dating. Nothing really too serious honestly but I could use some advice.
So heres my situation: I like this guy named Matt and I know for a fact that he likes me back but at the sametime I'm honestly terrified to date him. The last guy I had a "serious," relationship with ended in a total shit bomb(exuse my foul language) but its been awhile since then and I'm over the previous guy but I'm completely fucked over from him at the same time. Even though I may like Matt, I'm not sure if I should date him because I don't want to end up doing something I'll regret. Should I just be whatever about it and just go for it? or just wait till I feel ready? Any Advice?
How about giving it a try? If you ever make the same mistake again, at least you learned something and could try to avoid the same problem. Well, at least that's my opinion.

If you both really love/like each other, then in a few months both of you will still have feelings for each other. Just explain your concerns to him. If he's a great guy, he'll be understanding and wait till you are ready. If feelings start to fade, it wasn't really meant to be.
Also, just because your last relationship did not come out the way you wanted, it doesn't mean all guys are the same and will hurt you.
>>5 There is that chance, but its better to wait and be in a stable mindset rather than still be messed up from whatever dmg the last guy did, making you rather untrusting of the current. Side note~ No such thing as true love.
Always make sure you feel ready, if he truly Likes you he will wait until you do. But within the same breath, don't close your feelings off from the situation an focus on your fear. Fear holds You back. Allow yourself to get comfortable around him, you may even kiss. I actually recommend you do, a kiss never lies. You can lie to yourself about how you feel, but you will know. To sum up: get comfortable, proceed when you are; there is no rush.
