So I have this girl I like in my psychology class, I sit beside her and we're friends (not strangers to say). I'm trying to get closer to her and get to know her better but somehow it just seems so hard. She's always hanging out with her friend (that's a girl) and it's hard to have a serious convo sometimes. It seems that everything I'm saying doesn't get me anywhere and that there's an invisible force field between me and her.

I just want to get closer to her and make us feel comfortable with each other before asking her to grad in may. (HS grad) it's really bothering me and get me thinking about it all the time. ): I consider myself not a really outgoing person but not to the point where I'm a block of wood haha xD

Any suggestions on how to break down this barrier will be much appreciated! I know you guys can come up with something that will be of great use for me. Thank you in advance my fellow Dollars. :)

Just invite her to a dance or something. Don't worry about the best friend of hers and just do it.

maybe if you see her drawing or listening to music or wearing a band shirt, something like that, do a little inquiring, can never hurt! :3
